MISCO and Franco Azzopardi become shareholders

The Board of directors of 3a announce the company’s venture with MISCO, and with Franco Azzopardi. Since its launch two years ago, the latter was roped in as non-executive director and Joseph FX Zahra of MISCO was appointed as a management coach and advisor to the Board. This relationship sealed itself into an agreement whereby both MISCO and Mr Azzopardi recently joined the current shareholders and founding partners of 3a.

3a, was originally founded by Neville Cutajar, Christian Vella and Clive Farrugia, and subsequently joined by Franco Falzon through equity participation. The firm’s vision is “to be a distinctive accountancy firm building on durable relationships between talented professionals and (challenging) business clients”. Its main specialisation remains the provision of a seamless business experience to its clients. To achieve this, the Board of 3a worked incessantly at diversifying its offering to include value adding services that go beyond compliance, into business development.

As Malta’s leading knowledge organization, MISCO brings with it twenty seven years of expertise in HR services, marketing research and consultancy. It is an independent professional company providing marketing research, training and development, business consultancy and people selection services. It is known for its integrity, consistency, dynamism, versatility and client focus.

Franco Azzopardi specialises in corporate strategy and finance. After working within the profession as an accountant and auditor for 25 years, Mr Azzopardi furthered his studies and research in corporate finance, better governance and entry-to-exit business strategy. He has been serving on various boards and audit committees of both private and listed companies for several years.

The relationship with MISCO and with Mr Azzopardi brought 3a to the most natural step in its development path by bringing them in as shareholders. This will enable the company to strengthen its portfolio, through the contribution of economists, marketing, HR, corporate strategy and finance specialists.

Besides the benefits brought about by the synergy of the partners’ areas of expertise, which will see our young, dynamic company extend its service offer, 3a is also set to embark on its internationalization strategy. Joseph FX Zahra, Lawrence Zammit and Anthony Carabott join the board of 3a as non-executive directors.

On an operational and management level, no change will occur and therefore your current relationships and services will remain intact since the core of 3a management and administrative team shall remain unchanged. However we believe that this venture will provide us with the opportunity to enhance our service to our current and prospective clients and therefore improve our total service offering. This venture will enable us to continue to better place our clients as our focus by having a customer centric approach in everything that we do and by providing our clients with a better personal and sensitive experience in order to assist you in maximising your business goals. We will continue to consciously, actively and untiringly afford focused energy towards continuous knowledge development and sharing, among our clients, associates and staff.

Feel free to contact any of the partners, being Christian Vella, Clive Farrugia and Neville Cutajar, for any further information you may require.

Yours sincerely

Neville Cutajar
Managing Director
